Genomic Public Health in Australian Indigenous Communities and Developing Countries

Combatting the bacteria that cause respiratory infections

Lung infections are responsible for the deaths of millions each year. This Fellowship will focus on projects that bring together a range of different scientific and clinical disciplines and progress towards a reduction in the burden of these diseases, by making better use of current vaccines and antibiotics, researching new vaccines and treatments, and by helping curb the alarming rise in antibiotic resistance.
